Writing, that thing that I do from time to time...

I have little to show as yet, making this little-more than a vanity at the moment. It is intended to give direction for those curious about my doings and such. I'm sure as time goes by it will get more interesting...

Enemies of Fortune - This, the latest (and possibly last) Thieve's World anthology, has been out for several years now. I grew up reading the old series, and I was pleased as punch at the series brief return. When we discovered it was to be sort of a "Thieve's World: Next Gen" sort of thing, my mother and I caught on the idea that it would be entertaining to co-write the "next generation" of stories together.  Our contribution to this lastest volume - "The Ghost in the Phoenix" - drew insperation and imagry in part from a dream I had a few years before (coincidentaly about ghost-hunting in a flooding French-Quarter house in New Orleans). Hopefully others will find it as fun to read as we found to write, and we hope one day we'll again have an opportunity to write more adventures for the decendants of Lalo the Limner and their friends as they struggle on in that pit of scum and villany we know as Sanctuary. Published by TOR Books.
In related news, Green Ronin Press & Lynn Abbey developed the Thieve's World licence into an RPG setting for the d20 rules.

Ex Libris Nocturnis - For much of the year 2000 I invested a goodly amount of my free time writing editorials, fan-fic and gaming articles relating to White Wolf's Vampire: the Masquerade game for this particular E-zine. The site has gone through both revisions and abandonment, but if you dig you can still find some of my work there.
